For project enquiries, please contact Civil & Structural Engineering Division. The main services provided under this category are as follows:

Post-Tensioning

The Company markets its own brand of Post-Tension system namely the Presscrete Post-Tensioning System (“PPS”). The Company has an in-house design team comprising experienced design engineers who are equipped with advance engineering softwares so that they can produce practical and cost effective PT solutions to its clients. Its PPS cable units are manufactured with strict quality control measures. The Company maintains a wide range of PT jacks and other PT accessories to suit various stressing conditions.

Structural Repairs, Strengthening and Maintenance

Once a structural problem is identified, the Company is capable of providing professional engineering advice on the steps to be taken to repair and strengthen these structures. Beyond advisory services, our company provides specialist engineering services to repair, strengthen and maintain structures employing methods such as grouting, guniting, high-pressure water jetting and epoxy plate bonding.

Grouting is a process whereby a fluid or semi-fluid cement slurry or a slurry made with other materials is pumped, injected or poured into voids to achieve certain enhanced properties. The process has wide applications especially in concrete repairs and strengthening, as well as in ground stabilization. The Company possesses a range of grout mixers and pumps and the skilled manpower to meet the needs of its customers.

Epoxy plate bonding is the process of adding steel externally to concrete using epoxy resins, thereby making it bond effectively to the concrete surface. This process is more cost effective in strengthening structures when compared to conventional methods such as using concrete and steel beams, as only a limited number of strategically placed metal plates need to be used. In addition, it is cleaner than conventional methods, and is particularly suitable in areas which are currently occupied.

Guniting

Guniting describes the process of spraying concrete mixtures at high velocitites as against the conventional method of placement of concrete by pouring. Gunite is free-form concrete and has wide application. It is used to stabilise soil surfaces and for encasement, strengthening and repair of defective structures. It is often used in underground work as well as for structures which have large surface areas and irregular shapes.

Construction & Road Widening

Backed by our wide range of expertise, we have constantly demonstrated the ability to provide sound and comprehensive solutions to the current demand in infra-structure services such as construction of roads and road widening projects of the Land Transportation Authority (LTA), Housing & Development Board (HDB), Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) and other private entities.

Drainage & Sewerage Works

As a licenced builder, we are able to capitalize on our consolidated and diversified team of engineers to meet market demands on drainage and sewerage works. Our clients include among others the Housing & Development Board (HDB), Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) and the Land Transportation Authority (LTA).

Retaining Walls

Our exposure to difficult and challenging given situations honed us to offer a wide range of engineering techniques to design and build specialist retaining wall system to suit any site conditions. This enables our clients to derive great benefits in terms of speed, cost and quality.

Jetties & Wharves

We have successfully built award-winning ferry terminals, jetties and wharves. Our methodology incorporates an automatic lifting system which senses the changing tide and synchronizes the platform level to match the tide and ferry dock level, thus enabling a stable platform for passengers to board the ferry.
